Though not an appaloosa Jake has earned a place in the spotlight. He was my first horse, purchased at a sale as a nearly starved yearling he and I grew up together and he was the best teacher I've ever had. He is now the horse of choice by any green riders who come riding with us. He's as dependable & trustworthy as they come.

Because of his super disposition Jake was left a stallion till he was 10 years old. Pictured here on a trail ride with two of his foals, both out of the same reg. appy mare, grey gelding in front was foaled in 2000 and chestnut mare in middle was foaled in 2002. They both have his sweet disposition and trainable mind.
